Lakewood at Home Team Trains Pickleball Enthusiasts
Summer is in full swing, and the Lakewood at Home team is taking to the courts to soak up the sun and share some skills with the community.
The team hosted a pickleball clinic on June 7 with Executive Director Tammy Mackey serving as the instructor. Tammy recently won Richmond Pickleball Classic powered by the World Pickleball Tour. The clinic was for the members of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond. Community Outreach Coordinator Brenda Davis, who is a level three player, also assisted in teaching the clinic.
Another clinic will be held later this summer, so stay tuned for details.
